Castle of the Sires de Bourbon originally, it was later transformed into a prison. The City acquired it and converted it into a museum. On two floors, the rooms distribute in turn, here an old Bourbonnaise kitchen, there lace, a collection of violins or even a space of popular arts and traditions. The free visit will take you through the multiple eras of Gannat, from the 23 million year old rhinoceros to today's world, not to mention the fabulous 9th century Carolingian Gospel Book, now available for consultation on an interactive terminal!
